"No Upgrade Available" When attempting to upgrade VCF aware Aria Suite Lifecycle to 8.18

Issue/Introduction

• When attempting to load the VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.18 upgrade iso onto a VCF aware Aria Suite Lifecycle as a part of the process to upgrade to 8.18:
  Aria Suite Lifecycle UI > Lifecycle Operations > Settings > System Upgrade > Check for Upgrade: Message prompted "No Upgrade Available".
• The Correct Upgrade Repo ISO has been mounted to the CD-ROM of Aria Suite Lifecycle/ References in the online repository. 

Environment

VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.x

Cause

The required Patch / PS Pack is not applied on Aria Suite Lifecycle, to update the VCF BOM and make it aware of the upgrade path. 

• To upgrade Aria Suite Lifecycle from version 8.12, VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.12.0 Product Support Pack 11 needs to be applied to enable upgrade of VCF aware Aria Suite Lifecycle from 8.12 to 8.18.

• To upgrade Aria Suite Lifecycle from version 8.14, VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.14.0 Product Support Pack 10 needs to be applied to enable upgrade of VCF aware Aria Suite Lifecycle from 8.14 to 8.18.

• To upgrade Aria Suite Lifecycle from version 8.16, VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.16.0 Product Support Pack 5 needs to be applied to enable upgrade of VCF aware Aria Suite Lifecycle from 8.16 to 8.18.

Resolution

• To resolve the issue apply the relevant or latest product support pack available for the respective version of VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle.
• For details on installing PSPack :  VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.12  |   VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.14  |  VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.16
• Once the PSPack has been applied, reattempt the system upgrade (either by attaching the ISO to CD-ROM or by referencing the online repository containing the upgrade repo iso) 
• Validate that the upgrade repository and the upgrade path is successfully detected and we are able to proceed with upgrade.
