Unknown Installer error when configuring HA post vCenter upgrade

Issue/Introduction
After updating vCenter the vsphere HA FDM vib is not updated on the esxi host.
esxi is trying to access a datastore that is no longer presented
Environment
vCenter 7.0
vCenter 8.0
Cause
Datastore was removed from esxi without correctly unmounting.
Resolution
Rescan the filesystems presented to the host which may remove the legacy references
1. esxcli storage core adapter rescan -a
2. vmkfstools -V
3. /etc/init.d/hostd restart
