Issue/Introduction

Problem:

Message DSNT263I is being issued by the Bind for selective Maintenance job, ssid0002, causing it to fail.

DSNT263I - DSNTBCM1 BIND FOR PLAN = INAPKQRY FAILED BECAUSE THE BIND DEPENDS ON FUNCTIONS IN A LATER DB2 RELEASE WITH MARK P OR HIGHER
DSNT201I - BIND FOR PLAN INAPKQRY NOT SUCCESSFUL

 

Cause:

This error is most likely caused by an environmental problem. One possible cause can be the presence of DB2 system libraries in the ISPF concatenations in the JCL. The presence of these libraries, for example in the ISPLLIB concatenation, can cause a DB2 Release conflict resulting in the DSNT263I error.

Resolution:

These ISPF concatenations are built using the ISPF00 parmlib member. Check this member in the CDBAPARM parameter library, removing any CA product libraries and DB2 system libraries.
