NSX-T load balancer unable to establish a secure connection to some VMware Cloud Director cells

Issue/Introduction

• The affected cells cells are showing status "Down" on NSX  Load Balancer (LB) with an error:
  
  SSL Handshake Failure
  
  
• VMware Cloud Director (VCD) cells are behind the NSX-T LB.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.5.1.1

Cause

NSX-T LB is unable to establish a secure connection the VCD due to disabled ciphers on the VCD cells.

Resolution

Enable the needed SSL Ciphers on all the VCD cells and make sure all the cells have the same set of ciphers enabled.

Follow the instructions outlined in the documentation Managing the List of Allowed SSL Ciphers in VMware Cloud Director to check and enable ciphers on the VCD cells. This change needs to be applied on all cells in the environment.
