Issue/Introduction

  • When attempting to delete another user, cannot reassign owned objects to the currently logged in user
  • The Cloud Director (VCD) UI shows an error: 

     


    [ <###########> ] could not execute native bulk manipulation query - ERROR: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "uq_acl_general_pri_id_obj_id_ten_id" Detail: Key (principal_id, object_id, tenant_id)=(<##########, ##########, ########>) already exists.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

This error is caused by stranded objects in the acl_general table of the DB, during the transfer of objects in the delete user task.
