Error: "PreCreate failed: cluster's kubeconfig is not found" when creating a VMware Cloud Director Object Storage Extension add-on instance 3.0

Issue/Introduction

• Creating a VMware Cloud Director Object Storage Extension (OSE) add-on instance 3.0 fails with the error below:
  
  PreCreate failed: cluster's kubeconfig is not found


• The issue only occurs with OSE version 3.0 
• VMware Cloud Director Container Service Extension (CSE) is used for creating the instance.

Environment

 VMware Cloud Director Object Storage Extension 3.0

Cause

This is a known issue affecting OSE 3.0.

Resolution

Currently there is no resolution.

The issue is not occurring in OSE 3.1.

Workaround

OPTION 1
Deploy OSE 3.1.

OPTION 2
1. Download the kube-config of tkg cluster from CSE UI
2. Use the downloaded kube-config as an external cluster to run.
