[VMC] Unable to create new replications in SRM

Issue/Introduction

During configuration of new replication in SRM, the below error is seen:

A generic error occurred in the vSphere Replication Management Server. Exception details: 'com.vmware.vim.binding.dataservice.fault.NotAuthenticatedFault'.

Environment

VMware Cloud on AWS

Cause

• This is a known issue caused by the vpxd-svcs service in vCenter.
• This results in the VR solution user receiving unauthenticated error.

Resolution

• Raise a case with the VMware Cloud on AWS team with the SDDC details to remediate the issue (Get Support).
• The Broadcom engineering team is aware of this issue and working on a permanent fix.
