Issue/Introduction

Trying to create a tag based storage placement policy but it indicates that "Datastore is compatible but belongs to an incompatible datastore cluster"

Cause

Datastore belongs to a datastore cluster, while the other members are not tagged the same.

Resolution

You can use a tag-based storage policy at the datastore cluster level only when all datastores in the cluster have consistent tags.
