Issue/Introduction

Comparing a BMC Extract job with a Broadcom Database Organizer for IMS job and the Broadcom job gets RC04.

DEDB Extract completes with RC04 with no reason given. No accompanying warning messages given.

Environment

z/os IMS

Cause

Migration utility replaces BMC's PFPPRINT with ITKMSGS, but when written to a dataset the LRECL of 121 causes a RC04.

Resolution

Use DBOMSGS instead as it produces the correct report and always writes LRECL 133.
