Skyline adapter stops collecting and enters an error state

Issue/Introduction

Errors in the Skyline adapter logs appear similar to:

Internal Server error, cause unknown

Unable to get access token using the CSP refresh token provided. Retry Attempt: 1 HTTP Status code: 503 , Error description: Service Unavailable

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x

VMware Aria Operations Management Pack for VMware Skyline 3.x

Cause

The Skyline Advisor service is no longer generally available and not functional.

Resolution

Remove the Skyline management pack by following these steps: Remove a solution from Aria Operations.
