Issue/Introduction

We have deployed the java_jre 2.23 to our primary hub and now none of the Java-based probes will start.  They have all turned red.

 

Environment

  • DX UIM 23.4.0
  • RedHat 7

Cause

compatibility

Resolution

  • On RedHat 7, the highest JRE supported is v2.19 and higher versions will fail due to libstdc++ compatibility.

  • To resolve this issue, either deploy java_jre 2.19 or upgrade the OS to RHEL8 or higher.
