vCenter certificate was changed however vCenter machine SSL thumbprints in SRM database tables were reporting old thumbprints.
New certificate thumbprint of vCenter machine SSL needs to be updated in SRM database by re-configuring the SRM.

This issue is also seen If the vCenter machine SSL certificate is a external CA certificate and replaced.
Note: vCenter machine SSL cert has a expiry of two years when compared to other certificates which has ten years of validity.
