Issue/Introduction

We have upgraded our production environment to CU3. We are facing a new issue where we are not able to upgrade secondary hubs, robots, and probes via the admin console.

When we try updating the robots to 23.4.3, we are able to update only 10 or 15 robots out of 100 robots.

But when we try to update the missing ones via IM console, we are able to update properly.

Resolution

  1. Update the automated_deployment_engine.cfg
    - Increase the memory from the very low (default) java min/max memory settings of 64/512 to 2048/4096 respectively
  2. Deactivate ADE
  3. Activate ADE
  4. Then try a mass update again
