Aria Operations view not working as expected, In the view the number of tenant VMs is not correct for the OVDC as compared to vCloud Director

Issue/Introduction

When creating a view for details of the VMs as shown below , you select a single OVDC object in preview source, you are also seeing VMs from other OVDC resources in the preview output. This is happening when both OVDCs are in the same vCD tenant. 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Management pack for vCloud Director 8.18

Cause

Aria Operations uses relationships to build the list of VMs, Since this environment is using shared edge gateway across OVDC's in an Org A Virtual Machine is indirectly linked to 2 OVDCs under Same Org

Resolution

This is a product limitation as there are indirect relationships between VMs and other OVDCs. 

Workaround:

Use a filter object in the view to filter VMs for a single OVDCs
