Vcenter integration in PAM 4.2.0.03 and 4.2.1

Issue/Introduction

We have upgraded PAM from 4.1.6 to 4.2.0 and then applied HotFix 4.2.0.03. After this upgrade, the integration with vCenter no longer works.

If I go to:

Device -> Manage Device -> Refresh VMWare Devices

I get:

Error Error: {"data":null,"success":false,"total":0,"message":"PAM-CMN-0413: Failed to connect to VMware."}

Environment

PAM 4.2.0, 4.2.1

Resolution

Upgrade to 4.2.1 fixes the issue, but you need to do this additional step :

Upload the vCenter's root certificate from PAM UI (Configuration->Security->Certificates->Upload)

Make sure to upload the root CA as a CA Bundle
