Clear Stale Email Alerts in Aria Operations for Networks

Issue/Introduction

Receiving email notifications for old and archived alerts. 

Environment

Aria Operations for Networks 6.12.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.12.1
Aria Operations for Networks 6.13.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.0

Cause

Stale alerts that have not been cleared in the database causing email notifications to be sent out.

Resolution

Login to Platform 1 with Support user and run these commands below.

delete_stale_events

delete_dummy_events

Only run the next command if you are still receiving false email notifications. This will close all open alerts after deleting the stale and dummy events as per the above commands and anything that is still an issue will be re-opened.
