VSAN cluster has multiple issues and is affecting production

Issue/Introduction

Active vSAN Health alarms are seen on the cluster.  There are vSAN MTU Check and vSAN Basic Unicast Connectivity Check alarms active.

Environment

VMware vSAN (All Versions)

Cause

The kernel services tags were inconsistent on one host.  The vSAN and vMotion tags were swapped on a host as compared to other hosts in the cluster.  In the screen grab, it is evident that the 3 hosts have issues with 1 host.  The 1 host's vmk2 must be investigated for MTU size mismatch or other misconfiguration.

Resolution

Configure the host to have the kernel services tags consistent with the other hosts.  When the kernel affected is the vSAN vmk, then configuring the right tags should clear the connectivity alarms.
