Issue/Introduction

IDEAL program attempting to go into the RESOURCE section fails with: 

IDADERRP71E - INTERR: CA-DATADICTIONARY error, RC=ITY

Environment

z/OS

Ideal 15.x 

Cause

Did not run the INSTJCL(BDACTDD2) job for Datacom/DB which adds the DOCUMENT table to Datacom Datadictionary.

Resolution

Check the Datacom Multi-User log and if the following messages do not show Version 15.0: 

DB00915I - CXX DBID 15 DDD-DATABASE DEFINITION VERSION 15.0 CHANGE LEVEL 0
DB00915I - CXX DBID 2 DATA-DICT DEFINITION VERSION 15.0 CHANGE LEVEL 0

then run the INSTJCL(BDACTDD1) and INSTJCL(BDACTDD2) jobs to upgrade the Datacom Datadictionary to version 15.0 .

The INSTJCL(BDACTDD2) job adds the DOCUMENT table to Datadictionary.

Note that the version of DATA-DICT and DDD-DATABASE is version 15.0 even when running Datacom version 15.1 .
