Getting LCMVROPSYSTEM25008 error while upgrading Aria Operations using Aria Lifecycle.

Issue/Introduction

Following error is observed on the Aria Lifecycle UI:

Errors similar to the example below are observed in the vcopsPakManager.root.deploy_new_upgrade_content.log file:

WARNING:root:Open URL: 'https://localhost/casa/cluster/security/ping' failed with a URLERROR returned reason: [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: certificate has expired (_ssl.c:1006)

Aria Operations 8.x
VCF Operations 9.x

Cause

There is an issue with the Aria Operations custom SSL certificate. It is either expired or invalid.

Resolution

• Take snapshots of Aria Operations cluster. Here are the instruction for the same: How to take a Snapshot of VMware Aria Operations
• Reload the default web certificate in Aria Operations as per the instructions mentioned here: Reload the default certificate in Aria Operations
• Retry the upgrade.
