NSX portgroups are not exported during a vDS backup

Issue/Introduction

• When taking a backup of the vSphere Distributed switch (vDS) in an NSX environment, the following message is seen on the vSphere client (per screenshot) : 
  "NSX Port groups associated with this distributed switch will not be exported." 

Environment

VMWare NSX

Cause

This is working as designed, in a restore from vDS backup scenario vCenter and the vDS will learn the NSX port groups directly from the NSX Manager. 

Resolution

When restoring vCenter VDS the NSX segments are realized into the vCenter VDS as NSX Distributed Virtual port group during the NSX Compute profile Inventory sync.
