How to activate the CA RC/Migrator's Expert Profile?

Issue/Introduction

The Expert Profile in RC/Migrator provides access to Utility Model Services, Copy Group Services, Catalog PDS Unload and Import ICL. How can it be activated?

 

Environment

DB2 for Z/OS

Resolution

To activate the Expert Profile, perform the following steps:

• Select "A Product Authorizations" from the CA Database Management Solutions for DB2 for z/OS Main Menu.
  
  
• Type "E" next to the listing for RC/Migrator to explode the product's options.
  You will see two options:
  
  
  • RC/Migrator
    
    
    • RC/Migrator SV
      
      
    • RCM Expert Profile
      
      
• Enter the userid in the "To ID" field.
  
  
• Type "G" next to RCM Expert Profile to grant authority and press Enter.

Note: If you want that userid to have the Grant Option authority, use the "GW" line command.
