Basic and digest access authentication for webhook integration from AWS cloudwatch

Issue/Introduction

DX Observability SAAS provides push based integration feature for  AWS cloud watch. By default it is using token ingestion method for this integration .

As Amazon SNS natively supports basic and digest access authentication for HTTPS endpoints so only use of basic and digest authentication with HTTPS endpoints for securing your endpoint is possible.

So for above integration method can basic / digest access authentication (which is basically user based authentication)  be used ?  For example:  In the below  Instead of Generate and manage token > can it be user based .

Environment

DX Observability SAAS  and On perm version

Aws cloud watch 

Resolution

Currently basic /user based authentication is not supported by DX Observability -SAAS and On perm version.
