Issue/Introduction

Symptoms :

• Unmounting of Inaccessible datastore fails as below,

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 8.x

VMware vSphere ESXi 7.x

Cause

The Issue occurs due to inaccessible volume that is still in use. The resource triggering the unmount failure will be held by any active I/O from the inaccessible datastore.
