Issue/Introduction

VM provision space is not matching with the actual disk size on the vSAN datastore. 

VM Storage policy is RAID 5 FTT1- site mirroring 

Environment

VMware vSAN 7.#

VMware vSAN 8.#

Cause

RAID 5 FTT 1 - Site mirroring. 

Resolution

As per the documentation "Using vSAN Policies" , the RAID 5 FTT1 - Site mirroring should use 2*(Provision space*1.33).
