Error: "The provided credentials are not valid" authenticating VCDA and VCD

Issue/Introduction

• You see an error "The provided credentials are not valid" in the VCDA interface next to the settings section "VMware Cloud Director Public API address"
• When you try to edit the field VMware Cloud Director Public API address and introduce the correct endpoint, username and password you get an error "The provided credentials are not valid"
• You can login to VCD using the same credentials provided in the VMware Cloud Director Public API address in VCDA

VMware Cloud Director 10.6

Cause

This issue is caused due to an incompatibility in the APIs between VCDA 4.7 and VCD 10.6.x

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware Cloud Director Availability 4.7.3, available at Broadcom Downloads.
