Issue/Introduction

An alarm with the description "This event indicates that the Baremetal Server <serverId> - <server name> has lost connectivity with the Baremetal service. This disruption may affect server operations and management." is seen on SSP UI

Environment

vDefend SSP >= 5.1

Cause

Connectivity Issues could be due to variety of reasons: 

  • Connectivity issue with Baremetal Orchestrator
  • Connectivity issue with Baremetal Controller
  • Connectivity issue with Metrics Manager

Resolution

Open a ticket with Broadcom technical Support for further assistance.
