Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

  • opening the web console or remote console does display the user interface but the VM console is not visible and keeps displaying "Connecting..."
  • the VMware Cloud Director environment is clustered and configured for Load Balancing

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Cause

HTTP Multiplexing is required to open multiple requests on the same connection

Resolution

Reconfigure the Load Balancer to enable HTTP Multiplexing
