Issue/Introduction

The following scenario is failing.

Content of the include object:

:SET &ACT#="12345"
:P &ACT#

The script :INCLUDE is used to replace the content of the variable &ACT#:

:INCLUDE JOBI.36234511 12345 = "1234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789ü"

This script produces the following error message, although the string contains 50 characters most likely caused by the German umlaut "ü":

U00010029 Runtime error in object 'SCRI.36234511' line '00001'. The replacement string is '00051' characters long. The maximum length is '050'.

Environment

Automic Workload Automation 24.X.X

Cause

Defect.

Resolution

A problem has been fixed where the arguments oldString and newString allowed only 50 bytes. However, with UTF-8 now, this may not be enough, so this was extended to 100 bytes.
