The add-in Symantec for Outlook has prevented this item from being sent

Issue/Introduction

On Windows or MAC, the Symantec Add-in on outlook prevents any email or meeting request to be sent and shows this error message on outlook.

Environment

Microsoft Outlook on Windows or MAC. 

Outlook Web Access via web browser.

Cause

Access change that was erroneously applied removing public access to the Outlook-Addin-Manifest.xml and hosted plugin , causing issue with Symantec Add-in on outlook.

 

Resolution

Issue is resolved after public access was restored.
