Issue/Introduction

After rebooting a host in a vSAN cluster, it is partitioned from the cluster and the following errors can be seen in vCenter.

"Host cannot communicate with one or more other nodes in the vSAN enabled cluster after reboot"

"Host is not compliant with the attached profile"

Environment

vCenter - version=8.0.3, build=24322831

ESXi - VMware ESXi 8.0.3 build-24414501

Cause

Issue is with Host Profiles.

After every reboot the host is losing the network configuration and cannot join back the vSAN cluster.

Resolution

Removing the host profile from the cluster helps to bring the vSAN cluster into healthy state.

Also please open a case with our Compute team for assistance with Host Profiles.
