Issue/Introduction

• vSAN is reporting an alarm for cluster configuration inconsistency. Expand the alarm under skyline health, it reports: "Stats object policy configuration is inconsistent."

Environment

VMware vSAN 8.x

Cause

• Cluster > Configure > vSAN > Services > Performance Service > Edit > Storage policy was empty.

Resolution

• Select a storage policy for performance stats, you may choose the "vSAN Default Storage Policy".

• Cluster > Configure > vSAN > Services >  Performance Service > Edit > Set a storage policy.
