Errors setting up Enhanced Replication after changing certificates in vSphere Replication

Issue/Introduction

Attempting to setup Enhanced Replication generates the following error:

ERROR
Operation Failed
An error occurred while configuring vSphere Replication Server 'ESXI Host IP Address' for 'VM being replicated'.

Environment

vSphere replication 8.8 and up
ESXI 8.0 u2 and up

Cause

vSphere replication appliance has incorrect certificate details for the broker after changing certificates
