File Reputation Services for Security Analytics requires upgrade before May 31, 2025

Issue/Introduction

After May 31st, 2025, File Reputation Service (FRS) will not be available to legacy Security Analytics versions. 

Failure to upgrade to Security Analytics 8.2.8 or later will result in the loss of File Reputation Services results.
 
Security Analytics 8.2.8 introduced new reputation lookup service to replace legacy File Reputation Service with better and more reliable ratings.
 
If Security Analytics is not upgraded to at least 8.2.8, following May 31st, 2025, all files will start receiving 'unknown' results for all files submitted to FRS

Resolution

Upgrade to Security Analytics 8.2.8 (or greater) by May 31, 2025.
