Unable to add Staff from Projects/Ideas

Issue/Introduction

You try to add a resource from the Modern UX from a Project or Idea inside their respective Staff modules but it does not work. This works from the Staffing page, other objects, or even the Classic UX for Projects and Ideas.

If you try to use the Quick Add (+), you do not get any resource.

If you go to Add Staff, you have resources listed, but when you try to add one, you get an API-1007 error.

'API-1007: You are not authorized to process request. Contact your system administrator for necessary security rights'.

In the app-ca.log, you can see the following message:

User <user> tried to POST resource [resource name: teams, resource id: null] but does not have permission.
