PAMCLI addTargetAlias fails when hostname is large

Issue/Introduction

Privileged Access Management (PAM) Admin is attempting to use our addTargetAlias CLI command.

When they attempt to use it with a large hostname, the command fails with the following error:

CommandResult><cr.itemNumber>0</cr.itemNumber><cr.statusCode>407</cr.statusCode><cr.statusDescription>PAM-CM-0573: Invalid parameters specified.</cr.statusDescription><cr.result></cr.result></CommandResult>

Cause

The addTargetAlias CLI command has a limitation of 50 characters.

Resolution

The above issue is resolved in PAM 4.2.2.
