Cannot uninstall NSX from a host - receiving an error objects are still associated with the NSX installation

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to manually remove NSX using nsxcli -c del nsx, an error is reported that objects are still associated with the NSX installation.

Environment

VMware NSX

Cause

NSX was not unprepared through the UI, and there are still objects associated with the NSX installation such as filters associated with the host vmks.

Resolution

Manually move all host networking to a new VSS and run nsx -c del nsx
