Cluster level Metrics under 'Number of virtual machine operations' are not updating in Aria Operations when VMs are deployed via vCenter Content Library's VM Template

Issue/Introduction

It is observed that below metrics are not updating on a cluster level in Aria Ops when new VMs are deployed using a VM Template from vcenter server Content library. 

• 'Number of Virtual machine operations|Inventory|VM create'
• 'Number of Virtual machine operations|Inventory|VM Register'
• 'Number of Virtual machine operations|Inventory|VM Template Deploy'

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

When a user creates a VM from the Content Library's VM Template, on the vCenter side, Aria Operations does not receive Create or Clone events. Instead, it receives an event for Reconfigure, Hence it publishes the appropriate metric.

Resolution

This is a known issue on vCenter server and will be resolved in a future release.
