Data Loss Prevention Symantec ZTNA Data Loss Prevention Cloud Detection Service Data Loss Prevention Cloud Detection Service for REST Data Loss Prevention Cloud Package

Issue/Introduction

You need to deploy a DLP Cloud Detection Server (a CDS) that accepts data requests from your Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) tenant, but are unsure on where to begin.

Environment

Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA, formerly known as Secure Access Cloud / SAC)

DLP Cloud Detection Service for REST (aka a Custom REST detector)

Resolution

In order to complete this request, you will need a CASB REST detector that is not currently in use as per this TechDoc on ZTNA: Symantec DLP Integration with ZTNA.

If you do not have a CASB REST CDS provisioned:

  • Contact your SE or sales and start the process to get one provisioned for you. You should ask them to request a ZTNA / SAC tenant at that time if you need it.

If you already have one available:

  • Create a case with DLP support and provide the Bundle or Detector ID (if known). Support will then create a separate requests with the cloud ops team to convert the server to accept requests from ZTNA / SAC. This process can take up to 48 hours to complete.
  • Once completed, you will be provided with the Enrollment bundle and token code.
