Error: "java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol:" when importing helmchart applications from VMware Marketplace

Issue/Introduction

• The marketplace URL used for downloading templates is https://gtw.marketplace.cloud.vmware.com/api/v1
• When adding helmchart applications from VMware Marketplace, the following stacktrace is seen:
  com.vmware.ssdc.util.LMException: java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: 
      at com.vmware.ssdc.util.LMException.wrap(LMException.java:135)
      at com.vmware.ssdc.library.ExceptionFactory.createFromMultiple(ExceptionFactory.java:32)
      at com.vmware.cl.activities.CreateAppTemplateActivity$FinalPhase.invoke(CreateAppTemplateActivity.java:450)
• Not all application templates are showing this behavior.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.5.x

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

Due to recent changes as part of the VMware to Broadcom migration, there were changes in the repository the contents were pointing to. The issue was seen for templates still referencing the old public repository.

Resolution

Engineering fixed the issue in the backend to have all the helm chart content pointing to the new repository.
