Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 7.0.3

Cause

The PSOD is triggered when corruption on the source datastore causes deletion of the original copy of vmdk to fail, after storage vMotion has copied the vmdk to the target datastore.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in 7.0.3 U3V(i.e P10) . PSOD will not be encountered if corruption is seen on file to be deleted.
