APM Infrastructure Agent Windows installer doesn't' support a target folder with spaces

Issue/Introduction

I am unable to install the APM infrastructure agent with host monitor and other extensions in "C:\Program Files" or in any folder or path that contains spaces. The installation completes but for example the host monitor extension is never installed and there are many error in the Agent log related to the use of the path with spaces.

 

Environment

• DX O2 Infrastructure Agent SaaS
• DX O2 Infrastructure Agent OnPremise 2*

Cause

As per Techdocs this is currently a limitation:

Enhancement request # US1021466 has been created to address this limitation in the future.

Resolution

Workaround: Install Infrastructure Agent in a path/folder without spaces
