Removing NSX from ESXi host is taking a long time

Issue/Introduction

• You are attempting to remove NSX from an ESX host with the CLI command: "nsxcli -c del nsx".
• The task takes too long to finish.
• ESXi /var/run/log/esxupdate.log indicates the removal is ongoing:
  
  esxupdate: 548656: vmware.runcommand: INFO: runcommand called with: args = '['/etc/init.d/nsx-mpa', 'stop', 'remove']', outfile = 'None', returnoutput = 'True', timeout = '0.0'.

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.x
VMware NSX 4.x

Resolution

This is expected. Removing NSX from an ESXi host will usually take approximately 15 minutes
