Unable to include a URL in DEI

Issue/Introduction

We are unable to add a URL to the DEI (Dedicated IP addresses) as it contains an underscore.

We have verified with the user and confirmed that this is the correct URL.

URL: this_is_the_host.domain.com

 

Environment

CloudSWG

Resolution

CloudSWG portal is enforcing not allowing underscores in this field.

Any changes in this part will need to be coded and deployed. 

Technically saying RFC does allow it to have underscores in host part not domain.
