Clarity On Premise does not redirect to IdP for authentication

• SAML is enabled in a non-production system to test
• All the configurations are as per the documentation. It is noticed that even after this, when accessing the Clarity URL, it does not redirect to the IdP.

Environment

Clarity On Premise 16.1.0

Resolution

The SignOn URL has to be specified in CSA. There are certain IdPs that do not support IdP initiated flow. For these IdPs, the SignOn URL cannot be determined. In such cases, an upgrade to the latest versions of Clarity can open up the possibility of SP initiated flow, where the need for SignOn URL is not present.
