Issue/Introduction
You are unable to edit the SAML user that is already imported in VMware Cloud Director.
You are unable to disable the SAML user. When you try to disable the user you get an error: [ #######-####-####-####-############ ] validation error on field 'email': The email address may contain invalid characters or be missing an @
Environment
VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x
Cause
During import of the SAML user, the email address field was updated without a special character '@'. All the mentioned fields for the SAML user should be filled accurately to avoid this issue.
The Edit / Delete user action workflow runs a validation script which would flag this as a blocker.
Resolution
The code fix to mitigate the user detail pre validation is included in VCD 10.6.1.1 and later releases.
