In the SMG message audit log some attachments appear with an empty filename. Due to this, they cannot be sent for content analysis, resulting in the message getting unscannable verdict.
SMG 10.8 10.9
Based on our analysis, the issue appears to be caused by the missing filename attribute in the email's MIME headers.
SMG relies on the filename parameter in the Content-Disposition header to identify and process attachments.
When this attribute is missing or empty, SMG does not assign a default filename, which prevents content analysis and can result in the message getting unscannable verdict.
