Issue/Introduction

• Health check on Aria operations for network reports following alert:
  

• Validate if the SSH service is enabled on the platform nodes for which the health check alert is triggered.

  Steps to validate the status of SSH service:
  1.Login to platform node virtual machine with the consoleuser user.
  2. Run the following command:
      ssh-service status

Environment

Aria Operations for Networks 6.x
vRealize Network Insight 6.x

Cause

The health check on Aria operations for Network uses ssh connection. As a result, an alert will be triggered during the health check on the platform nodes if it is determined that the SSH service is disabled.

Resolution

• The SSH service should be enabled at all times on all the platform nodes in the cluster.
• Follow the following steps to enable SSH service on the platform nodes:
  1. Login to platform node virtual machine with the consoleuser user.
  2. Run the following command:
     ssh-service enable
