Issue/Introduction

When changing NSX-T Manager information from Cloud Director configuration getting the Error - No IP address found: java.net.UnknownHostException

Environment

Cloud Director

Cause

The error indicates a problem with the Name Resolution for NSX-T manager FQDN to IP Address

Resolution

To resolve log into each cell over SSH and confirm DNS is working as expected. Can check using the following:

ping [NSX-T Manager FQDN]

or

nslookup [NSX-T Manager FQDN]
