Issue/Introduction

Wile trying to connect the VCD plug-in in Orchestrator 8.18 the workflow "Add a connection" fails with Error in logging in with user <vcd-user> to the vCloud host https://<vcd-url>:443 ....

When trying to import VCD certificate, PEM converted into DER fails with the Could not import the SSL certificate. Check whether the file contains a valid SSL certificate

 

Environment

Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.18.1

Cause

Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.18.1 ControlCenter was removed.

Resolution

• To import vCD certificate run the workflow Try also import the certificate using workflow "Import a certificate from URL" before you run the  "Add a connection" workflow from VCD plugin
