Can probe alarms be enabled when deploying CDM MCS profiles?

Issue/Introduction

Our environment has CDM MCS profiles deployed with cdm_mcs_template version 7.22 with Alarm policies configured.

We also would like to enable CDM probe alarms and need confirmation if this is possible.

Per knowledge article below, the 'Alarm on Disk Error' option use to be available in 'Default Disk(s) (Enhanced)' template.

CDM Disk Free Alerts are generated even though Disk Free % Metric is disabled,

 

 

 

Resolution

Probe alarms cannot be configured/enabled when deploying CDM MCS profiles with the latest cdm_mcs_template versions, 7.10+.

All alarms must be configured using Alarm Policies.
